We take pride in our careful and selective breeding process, ensuring the development of a solid breed with excellent traits and temperaments.
OUR FOUNDERS
Michael + Jennifer Sparkman
We truly enjoy raising our livestock and living simply, teaching values and different ways of life to our children. Originally from the West Coast, we have called Kentucky our home for the past 10 years. We are grateful daily for the blessings of family, farm, and the connection with life and the experiences we are having.

Head of puppy programs
Jennifer is the driving force behind everything! From raising puppies and training dogs, to working with client’s dogs, and even managing photography and video editing; Jennifer handles the business side while also being a mother to five children. Life is undeniably hectic for her.

About The Family
The Sparkman family homeschools and homesteads. They are heavily involved in raising their own food and their Dutch Shepherds' food, from gardening to raising sheep, ducks, chickens, and rabbits. They are passionate about preparedness and homesteading and are followers of Yeshua.
About Jennifer
Jennifer holds a 3rd Dan black belt and enjoys teaching her children and clients home defense, incorporating her martial arts skills into the protection dog training they offer. They employ realistic scenarios, diverging from the standard practices found elsewhere. Jennifer is also an artist and former nurse who is currently studying Hebrew and naturopathic medicine.

Michael, Jennifer's husband, is a master dog trainer, master welder, and carpenter by trade. He possesses an exceptional gift with animals and has specialized in training working breeds and problematic dogs for over 20 years.

Michael began working with German Shepherds at the age of 12 under the mentorship of his uncle, a professional K9 trainer who raised and trained imported German Shepherds for Catholic churches in California. Since then, Michael's passion for training and working with dogs has only grown.
K9 Protection training
Michael has trained several protection dogs and service dogs for military veterans with PTSD. Michael also serves as a mentor and support system to several military veterans who own Dutch Shepherds. He has expertise in street fighting and incorporates realistic street scenarios into his protection or bite work training, offering tactical dog training that provides a significant advantage for handlers.

The Perfect Pairing
Together, Michael and Jennifer form an excellent team. They raise beautiful working Dutch Shepherds and offer training both locally and nationwide for clients.
