OSS Aptitude Testing & Obedience
(6–8 Weeks)
Our placement process begins before the puppies even open their eyes. From early neurological stimulation to environmental enrichment, each puppy is carefully observed and tested for temperament, drive, nerve strength, and adaptability.
Between 6 to 8 weeks of age, we run each pup through a rigorous battery of tests to evaluate potential for:

Therapy and emotional support roles.

These assessments guide us in making expert matches between each puppy and their future home or handler. Our puppies are raised around children, livestock, other dogs, cats, and various environments, ensuring confidence, stability, and adaptability from the start. From crate and potty training to bite inhibition or early defense work, every detail is tailored with purpose.

We breed on average 2-3 times per year and are incredibly intentional with our puppy-owner matching. Good things take time to find and are worth waiting for!

We'll reach out to coordinate a phone call to talk through your application.

If we need additional information we will follow-up as needed.

Upon approval, you will be sent a contract with deposit details.

Once the puppy is ready to come home, we'll coordinate travel and or transport (at client's expense).

NOTE: Submitting an application does not guarantee a position on the list. You are not on the list until the deposit is paid and the contract is signed by both parties.
